# EverestCoin Rebrand to XV

Every remarkable journey has a beginning. EverestCoin began its life rooted in the gaming industry, charming gamers with PeakXV. Our game stood out, drawing players into challenges that echoed the daunting real-world trek up Mount Everest. 

But as the saying goes, change is the only constant. Recognising a need for evolution, we transformed the EverestCoin into XV. 

But why XV? The moniker is a nod to our brand’s heritage – PeakXV. More than a mere name change, it is a rebrand aimed at rejuvenating our brand and ensuring it remains relevant in today's fast-paced crypto world.
